Cafe: STREAT
Address: 66 Cromwell St, Collingwood VIC 3066
Order: Late (social blend) + Haloumi beet hash, cinnamon butter, sorrel, witlof, roasted
carrot hoummus, poached egg & pomegranate dressing (add the bacon)

A beautiful bright cafe in an 1860's manor had us up for a Sunday morning brunch. Away from the hustle and bustle of standard Collingwood, it was easy to grab a table in the courtyard, near the beautiful greenery and in the sun for a leisurely meal.

STREAT helps put disadvantages youth through life skill courses - the coffee is roasted on site and this site also has a training academy which will now be able to help 365 young people each year. Eat something delicious AND lend a helping hand to youth in need.

Sidenote: the service here was perhaps one of the best we've had recently in Melbourne. Coffee's came and went without an interruption to our chat and when we ordered the lovely lady that served us made a few suggestions to help us out. It was geniunely such a comfortable dining experience!
