Who doesn’t love a great collaboration between fashion and furniture? I was very excited to learn that Kate Spade’s Saturday Line and West Elm have teamed up for a nice little collection of furniture, fixtures and home wares.
Saturday is like the edgy cool sister of Kate Spade’s normal work. How edgy? edgy enough that Saturday first started opening boutiques in Japan!
The range features some fun prints on west elm furniture classics, some bedding, cushions, rugs, lamps, ornate items and artwork to adorn your home. My picks are the Round Boxes, Abstract II artwork and the Bentwood Slipper Chair in Subway Tile Print.
The bad news is that West Elm hasn’t said if this range is coming to Australia! A reply on their Facebook stated that “We are working hard to expand our Australian assortment daily and to offer items that we have not been able to supply in the past. We certainly encourage our customers to tell us what pieces they'd like to see in the Australian range and we will be prioritizing those based on demand. We thank you for taking the time to reach out with your inquiry.” So maybe if people keep asking/hassling them to bring the range to our shores we might have some luck? fingers crossed!
